Our College of Pharmacy is no stranger to the culture of innovation, being the first pharmacy school in the country to be run by Filipinos. For 118 years, our Pharmacy program has kept that culture resulting in a Level III status from the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation. This external body checks the quality standards of universities.
Aside from this, what makes our Pharmacy program stand out from instruction is the tools we provide our students, like our own Animal House designed for high-quality research and experimentation. Innovations like such will give you additional knowledge and skills, giving you an edge over other Pharmacy graduates.
This is reflective of the performance of our students, consistently exceeding the average national passing rate in board examinations for the past 5 years. This is how we keep on producing highly competitive and employable graduates not only in the field of pharmaceutical companies but also in related industries like chemical manufacturing and even cosmetics.

Pharmacists' roles are evolving. As our technology and healthcare system continuously change and progress, pharmacists are coming out from behind the high counters to provide direct care and counseling to patients. Pharmacists are often depended on to ensure the quality of medicines given to patients and to advise them about the proper use, indications, and contraindications of drugs. They also interact with a larger health team to help manage complex patient care. Pharmacists serve patients in communities, hospitals and regulatory units, manufacturing companies, and the academe.
