On November 10, 2023, Manila Central University (MCU) and the Caloocan City Police Station took a decisive step in fortifying community collaboration and ensuring the safety of MCU students and the surrounding areas.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), jointly signed by MCU President Dr. Renato C. Tanchoco Jr. and Chief of Police P/Col. Ruben B. Lacuesta, solidifies their commitment to collaboratively fostering a secure environment.
This initiative, led by Mr. Julius Ceasar G. Asistin, Head of NSTP, and coordinated by PEMS Jairus Benjamin M. Montero, an MCU College of Nursing alumnus, which marks a historic collaboration. The MOU aims to establish a cooperative framework, prioritizing enhanced security measures and community engagement for all stakeholders.
Setting the stage for a safer and more engaged community, the MOU aligns with MCU's desire to create a secure environment. Both institutions anticipate a future of mutual support and shared success in fostering community safety.
