Manila Central University's College of Medicine, College of Pharmacy, and College of Medical Technology, in collaboration with Tawan Fund for Children and Families (TFCF), accomplished a highly successful mid-year medical mission. The joint effort, held on June 10, 2023, proved to be a remarkable endeavor in community healthcare.
The medical mission took place at Mandaluyong Addition Hills Elementary School, which generously provided its facility for the event. The primary focus of the mission was to educate the community about the importance of dengue prevention and provide Operation Tuli, a circumcision program promoting male hygiene and health.
The partnership with Ambica International Corporation, Southstar Drug, TGP The Generics Pharmacy, and Unilab played a pivotal role in the mission's success. Their unwavering support, including the provision of medical supplies and the deployment of qualified healthcare professionals, ensured the smooth execution of the event.
Throughout the day, a dedicated medical workforce tirelessly provided quality healthcare services. They conducted health consultations, administered vaccinations, and performed circumcision procedures, profoundly impacting the lives of the individuals they served.
As the university reflects on the resounding success of this endeavor, it extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers, supporters, and community members who contributed to its triumph. Their unwavering dedication to improving the well-being of others serves as an inspiration to all.
