Physical therapy is a health profession dedicated to promoting optimal health and function.
In celebration of World Physiotherapy Day 2022, the MCU-College of Physical Therapy hosted a two-day event last September 27-28, spearheaded by the Physical Therapy Student Council (PTSC) Officers.
The event featured a FREE PT CLINIC and engaging activities that fostered camaraderie and long-term relationships among PT students.
Also in attendance were Dr. Carlo Gene Poa, MD, FPARM, DPBRM (Physiatrist), Mr. Dexter M. Sotto PTRP, MAG, COMT (PT Program Chair), Ms. Jhielene Nonatq Tolentino (Administrative Assistant), and Ms. Andrea Joie Dela Cruz, PTRP (Laboratory Assistant).
The event provided an opportunity for physiotherapist students to raise awareness about the crucial contribution of their profession in keeping people healthy, mobile, and independent.
