Manila Central University-College of Dentistry (MCU-COD) proudly announced the formalization of a momentous partnership with Chung Shan Medical University (CSMU) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) last July 17, 2023.
CSMU, an esteemed university situated in Taichung City, Taiwan, with its origins as a dental school, has grown into a prestigious institution focusing on medicine and health sciences.
The MOU signing event was a significant occasion for MCU-COD, symbolizing their commitment to enhancing dental education. As part of the event, MCU organized the New Southbound Special Needs Patient Oral Care Dental Conference, featuring distinguished speakers from CSMU, including Assistant Professor Lu Ming Yu, Specialist, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery; Professor Tsui Hsien Huang, Co-Project Director; and Professor Kao Chia Tza, Chairman, Orthodontics Department, CSMU Project Director.
The partnership aims to empower dental education through knowledge exchange and research collaboration. MCU's students and faculty members stand to benefit from CSMU's expertise in medicine and health sciences, fostering advancements in dental healthcare.
