MCU-CON Hosts 3rd International Nursing Students Training and Community Immersion Program

Manila Central University-College of Nursing (MCU-CON) proudly opened its doors to host the 3rd International Nursing Students Training and Community Immersion Program. This remarkable event united nursing students and faculty members from MCU-CON and welcomed esteemed guests from the Stikes Budi Luhur Cimahi Institute of Health Sciences in Indonesia. Held over two enriching days on August 14 and 16, 2023, the program seamlessly blended knowledge sharing with genuine care.

MCU-CON, renowned for its dedication to excellence in healthcare education, extended a warm and hospitable welcome to its Indonesian counterparts. The central aim of this initiative was to foster cross-cultural learning, ignite a global passion for healthcare, and cultivate enduring bonds of friendship and collaboration that transcend international boundaries.

A pivotal aspect of the program was the Community Immersion Program, wherein students ventured into Barangay Maysilo, Malabon City. Here, they put their nursing skills into practice, making a tangible difference in the lives of those they served. This hands-on experience underscored the vital role that nurses play in healthcare, emphasizing their capacity to impact lives both within and beyond the confines of a hospital.

MCU-College of Nursing remains steadfast in its commitment to global engagement in healthcare, enriching the lives of its students and the communities they serve. This event marks the beginning of an extraordinary global healthcare journey, fostering not only academic excellence but also a profound sense of social responsibility and compassion.
