Centralinos: Gearing Up to Serve Their Community and Nation

The National Service Training Program (NSTP) orientation held last September 16, 2023, at the Helix Auditorium, was a huge success. It was a productive weekend filled with learning and fun for the Centralinos who participated in the mentioned event.

The orientation began with the opening remarks from the NSTP Head, Mr. Julius Ceasar Asistin, followed by the introduction of faculty. To ensure that the students will never miss the vital information about this program, Mr. Asistin dedicatedly educated Centralinos about the revised version of Implementing Rules and Regulations of RA 9163 or NSTP Act of 2001. Moreover, the students also learned the legal basis, history, and components of the program such as the Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS), the Literacy Training Service (LTS), and the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC). In addition to the informative sessions, they also participated in various games and activities designed to make the event enjoyable and to help them develop connections and camaraderie.

The NSTP orientation was an empowering experience for Centralinos, equipping them with the knowledge and skills they need to fulfill their civic duties and contribute something beneficial on their community and nation.
