MCU-College of Physical Therapy holds its First Face-to-Face Pinning Ceremony

Last October 22, 2022, Manila Central University-College of Physical Therapy held its first face-to-face pinning ceremony at Helix Auditorium for the CPT third-year students. It was attended by our CPT students together with their proud parents.

The Pinning Ceremony highlights the transition of CPT students from general education to the professional level. It marks the beginning of more advanced studies that prepare the students for their first-year Internship program.

Mr. Ric Jason Javier, an alumnus of the college, a TOP 9 board placer during the Philippine Physical therapy Licensure Examination 2015, and the Head of the National Children's Hospital PT Section, was this year's special guest speaker. His shared knowledge and expertise truly inspired the students.

Furthermore, a recognition moment took place for our Top 3 performing CPT students. John Angelo Muyco is ranked as the top student, followed by Dalton Gomez, ranked second, and Micah Gaspe placed third.

Also present at the event were Dr. Angelo C. Maduli, VP for Academic, and Mr. Dexter M. Sotto, PTRP, MAG, COMT, the Program Chair, whom both delivered a message at the momentous event.
