Homecoming means celebrating a wistful affection in the past – a toast for achievements and acquaintance with an old friend, but here at Manila Central University, it's much more! It is a golden opportunity to trailblazing the way into a bigger, bolder, and brighter Alumni of MCU.
With this year's theme, "Ignite the Flame of Excellence," the MCU Centralino Alumni Association (MCUCAA) celebrated its Grand Alumni Homecoming last December 9, 2022. Acknowledging the Silver Jubilarians of Class '95, '96, and '97 of the different programs of MCU and the Coral Jubilarians (35 years) of the MCU-College of Dentistry (COD) who also graced the said event.
Along with this, an engaging moment with an alumnus of Class 1996 from the MCU-COD, Dr. Johnah Galicia, who delivered a talk entitled "The Power of Me Time" to inspire its alumni to be themselves even during challenging times.
It was a worthwhile event with various intermission numbers, dancing, and singing performances that set the occasion's mood. The program further highlights the awarding of silver medals to the Jubilarians.
The Alumni President, Dr. Maria Alicia T. Camacho, the Vice President for Planning and External Affairs, and the Vice President for Academics, Dr. Angelo C. Maduli, delivered a compelling message for the mass.
Moreover, the Head of the Admissions and Marketing Department, Ms. Angelique Manalad, unveiled the significant transitions MCU has undergone into becoming a bigger, bolder, and brighter institution towards a promising and world-class education and services.
