Manila Central University formalized its partnership with its newfound international school partners: Karsa Husada Garut Institute of Health Sciences, Sukabumi Institute of Health Sciences, Hamzar Institute of Health Sciences, and Hang Tuah Pekanbaru University by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) last December 1, 2022.
The representatives of Indonesian University visited Manila Central University and reinforced collaboration through educational cooperation, intending to strengthen the educational institutions existing cordial relationship.
Each university officially signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), and both agreed to collaborate to facilitate the exchange of faculty, researchers, academic personnel, and students. They also concur on promoting collaborative research, seminars, workshops, and double-degree programs in the health sciences and encourage reciprocal participation in mutually beneficial educational congresses, conferences, workshops, symposiums, training courses, and exhibits.
Furthermore, there was also an exchange of educational literature, research findings, publications, periodicals, and other related publications.
The members of the MCU, the Vice President for Planning and External Affairs, Dr. Renato C. Tanchoco, Jr., with the Vice President for Academics, Dr. Angelo C. Maduli, Dean of the College of Nursing, Prof. Melvin D. Miranda and External Affairs Officer, Ms. Mary Grace Cancino-Antioquia have provided a lot of support in the institution for this noteworthy event.

(Director, Karsa Husada Garut Institute of Health Sciences), Iwan Permana, SKM., S.KEP., M.KEP. (Director, Sukabumi Institute of Health Sciences), NS. Nandang DD Khairari, MAN (Vice President, Hamzar Institute of Health Sciences) and Ms. Siska Mayang Sari (Dean, Hang Tuah Pekanbaru University) participated in the official signing of the Memorandum of Understanding.
