In a recent event, the Manilla Central University (MCU) announced its new partnership with the University of Health Sciences (UHS) in Cambodia. This collaboration aimed to promote academic cooperation and strengthen ties between the two universities.
In a meeting held last January 27, 2023, both parties expressed their excitement about the successful partnership and discussed the cooperation activities outlined in the Memorandum of Agreement. The virtual engagement between MCU and UHS included a range of cooperation activities, such as online student exchange programs, faculty exchange programs, staff training, and research projects for the current school year.
Representatives from MCU who attended the event were Dean Karina Batu-Villena, Associate Dean Manuel Balmas, External Affairs Officer Ms. Mary Grace Antioquia, and Administrative Assistant Ms. Pristine Gayle Pelonia.
This new partnership between MCU and UHS was expected to benefit both universities and enhance the quality of education they provide. The exchange programs and research projects will provide students and faculty members from both institutions with opportunities for cross-cultural learning and research collaboration, further enriching their academic experiences.
It was a significant step towards the internationalization of higher education and academic cooperation.
