Manila Central University (MCU) has been making significant strides in various fields, and its recent partnership with Chung Shan Medical University (CSMU) is no exception. The collaboration between the two universities has demonstrated the power of partnership and integration in achieving common goals, with remarkable progress achieved since its establishment in 2018.
This year, MCU had the honor of attending the 2023 New Southbound Special Needs Oral Care Resource and Integration Project in Taiwan with CSMU. The delegation was led by Vice President for Planning and External Affairs, Dr. Renato C. Tanchoco Jr., the Vice President for Academic, Dr. Angelo C. Maduli, and the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Dr. Ma. Cristina Aurea G. Garcia, along with three (3) esteemed faculty members, Dr. Maria Alicia Camacho, Dr. Filipina Ng, and Dr. Edbert Solano.
The symposium aimed to promote dental education and enhance the capabilities of dental professionals in providing oral care to individuals with special needs, and it provided a platform for sharing knowledge and expertise, learning from colleagues, and fostering collaborations among dental professionals from different countries.
