Manila Central University (MCU) recently hosted the highly anticipated Gender and Development (GAD) Advocacy and Awareness event last May 5, 2023. The event was a remarkable display of unwavering commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusivity.

The informative talks by esteemed guest speakers, Ms. Danielle Mañalac, Project Associate of Women Gender Associate, and Ms. Danica C. Gonzalez-Saurombe, Program Coordinator of Miriam College-Women and Gender Institute, highlighted the need for a more equitable and inclusive society.
A booth fair provided an interactive experience for students, featuring engaging games, giveaways, and prizes. However, the event's highlight was the film contest, which showcased inspiring stories and messages about gender and development. The winners were presented with trophies and certificates for their exceptional contributions.
