Manila Central University (MCU) and the Department of Science and Technology-National Capital Region (DOST-NCR) have initiated a partnership in pursuit of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the "Science for Change Program."
Last April 19, 2023, the DOST-NCR introduced the accelerated R&D Program for Capacity Building of Research and Development Institutions and Industrial Competitiveness, encouraging research collaboration between industry, academic, and research institutions. The partnership aims to accelerate research and development programs, build capacity in research institutions, and enhance industrial competitiveness to increase productivity and global competitiveness.
The partnership between MCU and DOST-NCR was a significant step towards the sustainable development of the Philippines. By leveraging the expertise of various institutions and fostering collaboration between industry and academia, the partnership aims to promote innovation and enhance the country's global competitiveness.
